Limited Warranty on Remanufactured Major Components

What is covered:
Eriksson Industries warrants to the original purchaser that it will either repair or replace, free of charge, (parts and labor) any component that it remanufactures that is defective in material or workmanship for a period of 12 months from date of installation.  Warranty work should be done by the business originally installing the component.  New components and components remanufactured by other suppliers are subjected to the manufacturer's warranty.


What is not covered:
Damage due to accidents, misuse, alterations or faulty maintenance or repairs.
*Damage due to lack of maintenance.  Maintenance must be in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer's recommendations and proof of such maintenance must be available on request.
*Ordinary maintenance items and adjustments.
*Incidental or Consequential damages such as telephone calls, loss of time,  inconvenience, or commercial loss.
*Damage due to severe overheating (sufficient to melt heat tab on cylinder head) or lack of lubrication.


The retail purchaser is responsible:
To properly operate, maintain, and care for the components.
*To keep maintenance records as in some cases it may be necessary to show that required maintenance was performed.
*To return the vehicle and/or component to the selling/installing dealer within the warranty period to report the defect.

Important Notice:
This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.  Eriksson Industries does not authorize any person to create for it any other obligations or liability in connection with these components. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY APPLICABLE TO THESE COMPONENTS IS LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS WRITTEN WARRANTY.  ERIKSSON INDUSTRIES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR CONSEQUENTIAL COMMERCIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM BREACH OF THIS WRITTEN WARRANTY OR ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY.

Some states do not allow limitation on how long an implied warranty will last or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusions may not apply to you.

Customer Procedure for Warranty Reimbursement:
We want to emphasize that it is our intention to honor any warranty claim fully and as promptly as possible if a defect is noted in a product supplied by Eriksson Industries as per the terms of our warranty.   We believe that a warranty repair will be so infrequent that we have not designed a specific warranty form.  Instead, we will reimburse you upon receipt of you repair order, receipt of the defective part and upon confirmation of the defect and its apparent cause.

To help serve you better we require the following:
    1.  Call us on any warranty repair.  This will allow us to promptly decide upon repair or replacement of defective parts.
   2.  Return any warranty parts prepaid with your repair order enclosed (we will reimburse your freight cost upon confirmed warranty parts).
    3.  The labor paid on warranty repairs will be based on the "Mitchell Labor Estimating Guide" repair time schedule.
